Group of Dragonfly Eye Glass Beads
Warring States Period, China, ca. 475–221 BCE
A group of polychrome glass beads decorated with concentric “dragonfly eye” motifs in blue, green, white, and ochre. Produced by mosaic glass techniques, these ornaments reflect the technical and artistic sophistication of Warring States craftsmanship. Such beads are typically associated with elite burials and long-distance exchange networks.
Dimensions: c. 1.5–2.5 cm diameter.
Condition: Intact and fragmentary examples, with surface weathering and burial accretions.
