Blue and White Small Bowl with Dragon Pattern, Under-Glaze Decoration
This finely potted porcelain bowl, dating to the Yongle reign, is delicately formed with steep rounded sides rising from a narrow foot to a slightly flared rim. The interior remains plain save for a subtle blue line encircling the rim, while the exterior is decorated in under-glaze cobalt blue with a continuous dragon motif, a hallmark of imperial wares of the period.
