ue Ware “Secret-Colour” Celadon Dish
China, Tang–Five Dynasties period (9th–10th century)
A shallow celadon-glazed dish with a gently rounded body and a subtly lobed rim. The interior is finely incised with a symmetrical floral medallion radiating from the center, the petals and foliate scrolls crisply delineated beneath the translucent glaze. The surface exhibits the characteristic soft bluish-green tone of Yue ware, often praised for its resemblance to polished jade. The underside plain, the glaze pooling slightly toward the footring.
